Slab Material Information
Here is a list of the slab yards we choose to work with. We encourage you to visit them in order to see the widest possible selection. Please call first as their hours can vary. Our relationship with these yards is very well established. They all have quality materials and are very aware of our high standards.
Please inform your sales person of the sizes we require for your project and that you are working with us so we can track your selection. You should wet the material to see the final installed color because our sealer will slightly darken the material. Please do not break a sample from the slab you choose, your sales person should have samples available. Please be aware of the grain and pattern and how it will flow throughout your project. Please inspect the entire slab. Small pits, fissures and veins are acceptable but open cracks and broken corners can pose a problem with our layout.
Once you select a material your sales person will tag it for you and hold it in our name so we can pick it up. You should put your initials on the edge of the slab so that when we arrive for pick up we can perform a final inspection on your particular slab choice and we can match that slab if we have to substitute it for any reason. If you can’t find a material in the correct size please let us know your color choices so we can try to locate the required size at an alternate supplier. You are not required to leave a deposit at the yard so you can and should select more than one material. We will apply your various choices to your bid and once you make a final choice we will place a fabricator hold on the material. If you have any questions please call john @ 661-917-2830
